RATES
 OFFICE HOURS
M - F 9a - 3p
ANNUAL FEE
Sunflower Sitters charges an annual fee of $35.00. This fee
covers the administrative costs for researching the background
of child care providers.
REFERRAL FEE
An agency referral fee of $10 is charged each time a requested
referral is scheduled and fulfilled. If a referral
is made with 24 hours notice or less, the referral fee is $15. Sunflower
Sitters tracks these referral fees monthly. The client
is billed for the amount on the last day of the month. Payment
is due by the 25th of the following month. A $10 late fee
is assessed if payment is received after the 25th of the month.
Referrals received after 5:00pm during weekdays will be acted
upon the following day. Referrals received during the weekend will
be acted upon on the following Monday.
SAVER RATES
Saver rates are available for anyone who would like to save on the referral rate
by buying in bulk.
NOT AVAILABLE FOR USE ON BLACKOUT DATES
- 5 referrals for $45.00
- 10 referrals for $90.00
- 25 referrals for $225.00
You will be notified by email when your referral saver rates are
about to run out, and you will be asked whether you would like
to purchase another saver rate referral package. The saver
rates expire 2 years from date of purchase.
 PAYMENT
Sunflower Sitters is currently accepting payments by cash, check
or your bank ebill. Payments

PAY RATES
Our rates of pay for providers are as follows:
- 1-2 children at $9.00/hour
- 3 children at $10.00/hour
- 4 children at $12.00/hour
- Additional $1.00/hour for each child when more than 4 children
up to a maximum of 6 children
- Overnight care at $125/24hours; $75/6 pm – 12 noon of
following day(18 hours)
Minimum billing time for Friday and Saturday nights is 4 hours. All
other times of the week have a minimum billing time of 2 hours. Child
care providers are to be paid directly by the client on the date
of service. If the minimum time is not met, the provider
will still be paid for the minimum hours (ie. if the client comes
home after 2 1/2 hours on a Friday or Saturday night, the provider
is still paid for the full 4 hours).
GROUP RATE REFERRAL FEE
If you are planning a wedding, family reunion
or other large event and need child care, Sunflower Sitters is
available. Child
care may take place at the event location so parents can enjoy
the event without worrying about the children or in a family home. Rates
for child care as well as the number of providers needed will be
dependent on the number of children. The maximum ratio is
6 children per each provider. The group referral fee is $150
and billed at the end of the month referral is completed. Payment
is due, in full, by the 15th of the following month. A $10
late fee is applied for payments received after the 15th. A
non-refundable security deposit of $50 is due to secure the date. This
deposit is applied to the $150 referral fee. A $50 cancellation
fee is charged if cancellation is made 1 month prior to the event. Cancellation
fee is due by the 15th of the following month. For example,
if the event is scheduled for May 18, a cancellation fee will incur
if cancelled on any day from and including April 18 through May18.
 BLACK OUT DATES
Child care on the following days is based on first
come, first served and is at the rate of $15.00/hour. The
referral fee to Sunflower Sitters is $15.00.
Dates include New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Easter,
Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, 4th of July,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (day and evening), Christmas
Day and New Year’s Eve.

a meeting to attend?
- Mom recovering from surgery?
Gift certificates are a great way to remind parents and grandparents
to take time for themselves or give themselves time to attend a
committed event or meeting knowing a reliable, responsible, experienced
and caring provider will be available through Sunflower Sitters. Gift
certificates are available online or through our office. Payment
is due at time of purchase.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $25 cancellation fee is charged for a cancellation
made within 24 hours of a scheduled referral.
