Sunflower Sitters is owned and operated by DeAnn Windibiziri. DeAnn
is married and has two elementary aged children. DeAnn began
babysitting at the age of 11 and continued in child care until
she had her own children—working in child care centers, preschools,
day camps and as a live-in nanny. She earned her Bachelor
of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of
Kansas. DeAnn has taught school in both Lawrence and Kansas
City.
DeAnn has identified a need in the community regarding child care
and can utilize her background to fill this need. Starting
her own business in the field of child care referral services seemed
like the perfect match.
